N2 - As society progresses, physical activity becomes increasingly important for physical health. Physical inactivity and sedentary lifestyles have become pandemics among young people, with the rate of physical activity decreasing. Therefore, this study explored the differences between educational cycles (10-18 years) of physical fitness. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was applied to non-parametric tests, the Kruskal–Wallis test was applied to assess the differences between stages related to the dimensions of physical fitness, and Cronbach’s alpha was applied to assess the reliability and validity of the instrument. The results showed significant differences in all dimensions except flexibility, with primary school students having the highest perception of their physical condition. These results reveal a decrease in the perception of physical fitness throughout the educational stages, highlighting the need to implement strategies to improve these values to improve the health and quality of life of students, in addition to all the benefits that a high level of physical fitness brings.
