Abstract

However, cognitive accessibilityCognitive accessibility is still scarcely addressed despite its relevance and impact on the inclusion of people in society. Cognitive accessibilityCognitive accessibility ensures that information is easy to understand by all people, regardless of their previous knowledge or intellectual abilities. In this context, since 2018, a web serviceServices(PICTOS) has beenCo - design co-designed which provides supportSupports to ensure cognitive accessibilityCognitive accessibility in the use of servicesServices. From inclusive research, with the active participation of an advisory group composed of adults with intellectual disabilityIntellectual disability, a pictographic system and an information architectureArchitecture have been created aimed at promoting and improving the cognitive accessibilityCognitive accessibility of public and private servicesServices. Recently, progress has been made in the implementation of the supportSupports in various cities of the country, and in the transfer of the cognitive accessibilityCognitive accessibility model for digital servicesServices.
