Resumen

The pluralism of the educational model derived from article 27 CE, which is, in turn, a manifestation of the political pluralism guaranteed by article 1.1 CE, leaves a wide margin of freedom to the legislator so that he can configure an educational model in which there are very diverse pedagogical options with the only requirement that they are not contrary to the constitutionally enshrined rights. The conformity of sex-differentiated education with the right to equality is analyzed. The single-sex school and the mixed school must promote the development of all aspects of personality and exclude any type of learning that perpetuates the traditional assignment of roles in society.
