Resumen

This article examines the sociodemographic, institutional, and academic factors that affect the Timely Graduation Rate (TTO) and Total Graduation Rate (TTT) of Physical Education Pedagogy students in Chile (PEF). Descriptive and inferential statistical analysis was conducted using data from students enrolled in the PEF program between 2011 and 2019. The results indicate that the type of school attended, the higher education institution, gender, institutional accreditation, and academic performance are the most influential factors in graduation rates. Students from subsidized private schools are more likely to obtain their degree compared to those from public schools. Additionally, women have higher graduation rates than men. Institutional accreditation and strong academic performance also positively influence graduation rates. These findings underscore the importance of considering these factors when addressing graduation rates in Physical Education Pedagogy in Chile.
